For all types of household income is generally higher in the western parts than in the eastern parts. The differences are especially for people living alone and the highest for couples with children 0-17 years and households with older children. For example, the average couple with children 0-17 years, is almost twice as high in the borough Vinderen (691.700 NOK) compared to Gamle Oslo (350.800 NOK).
